At the helm of the company is Natalie Slabbert, the Founder and CEO, who has an extensive background in the insurance industry. Natalie’s career began at Paladin Underwriting Managers, where she developed strong relationships with major insurance brokers, becoming the go-to expert for fleet insurance. Afterward, she established a Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) fleet insurance division with Constantia Insurance Company. Building on this success, she went on to pioneer E-hailing taxi insurance while running a Taxi Underwriting Manager. Her ability to transform unprofitable fleets into long-term, profitable accounts has been a key factor in her success.
In addition to these ventures, Natalie founded Proficient Solutions, an administration company that quickly grew a profitable book in partnership with Hollard Insurance that has been operating for 10 years. The company expanded its client base and services, eventually partnering with additional insurers, offering coverage across South Africa.

Adam Stocks, another key member of the team, brings his experience as a client executive at Aon, NMG Risk Managers, and Marsh. Adam specialized in handling large commercial and corporate accounts, managing fleets alongside their asset portfolios, and ensuring clients’ claims and loss ratios were optimized. His client-focused approach aligns with the company’s commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining fairness.

Kevin Slabbert joined Proficient Solutions in 2022 as the Compliance and Governance Manager, bringing 19 years of compliance expertise in staff management, customer relations, sales, auditing, and compliance. He completed the Program Management Development course at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria.
Kevin specializes in company due diligence, regulatory compliance, and managing claims departments and customer complaints. He also has experience conducting Hollard Underwriting and Claims due diligence, achieving a 90% low-rating outcome with minimal implication findings.

Since Proficient Solutions established its Binder agreement with CIB, Kevin has led the quarterly due diligence audits, maintaining a consistent low rating each quarter.
